There has been a Whatsapp chain message claiming that one of our biggest sources of revenue, the Palm oil, is “haram.” These claims state that these oil packs have pork in it or are made out of pork oil. Netizens state that pork oil is a lot more expensive than what the general public think it is.
Netizens fed up with false claims towards Palm oil
X users are angry at this claim and are saying that it is utterly ridiculous. They add that next, conservative Malaysians are going to claim that the petroleum that fuels our cars will also be induced by pork.
Others claim that some of these conservatives are making false claims about these oil packets. However, they are the ones allegedly profiteering from it by selling them at a higher price overseas. This is in lieu of the controversy that erupted in 2022.
