A sad story went viral on social media after a teacher in Ampang allegedly mistreated their student by punishing him to sunbathe. Apparently, the student suffered from heat exhaustion which led him to be hospitalised. Netizens are vehemently angry towards the situation and are concerned about the wellbeing of other students.

X users are sceptical towards the situation citing that the teacher would most definitely be under investigation and transferred to another school. Users state that the teacher should be punished for the wrongdoing towards the student as punishments should not lead to a hospital case.
Additionally, users questioned the entire ordeal citing that the other teachers should have gotten involved with the situation. The 11-year-old boy was drenched under the hot sun for over two hours, as a period in lessons usually lasts for around 30 minutes to an hour.
