Another Empty Syringe Story?

1 min read

Facebook user Tan Wing Sam claims he was given a vaccine jab with an empty syringe on Saturday, July 17 at MITEC KL.

In the Facebook post, he says he never thought, “the ‘empty vaccine’ case will happen to me.”

The post is dated Sunday (15 hours ago at the time of publishing).

There was another case of ‘empty syringe’ on July 9 reported to the police.

Local newspapers then said Selangor police was looking into the case.

“The man claimed that the vaccine was not injected into him during his appointment.

“The man also has a video clip of the alleged incident,” a police officer said in a virtual press conference on Friday (July 9).

In Tan’s case, there is no sign whether he made a police report. But all ended well when he made noise telling the ‘nurse’ the syringe was empty.

“I confronted her asked if she really did it properly and she replied ‘Should be ada lah, kalau you nak I bagi satu lagi’ ?????”

“How easy she can just offer me another jab right after the first one. Then she proceeded to get a new syringe and started all over again.

“This time with all the proper steps (I assumed) from withdrawing vaccine from the vial, jabbed, pushed vaccine into my arm, withdrawn. After everything was done she asked me to proceed again, and I asked her again if the first one was done properly, she was hesitating and replied ‘should have lah but you say no so I gave you a second one,” he wrote.

He also says he posted this in order to warn others to check properly before they get their jab. He also warns it is dangerous not to get vaccinated properly.
