Transport Minister Anthony Loke will present a detailed report to the Cabinet on the recent power outage at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2), Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said.

The report will explain the cause of the incident and outline measures by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to prevent future disruptions. Loke assured the Cabinet that fail-safe plans will be included to strengthen airport operations.
Importantly, none of KLIA2’s critical systems were affected during the outage, Fahmi confirmed. The government emphasized accountability and proactive measures to ensure public confidence in the airport’s infrastructure and safety standards.
