Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has ordered Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay to review the travel ban imposed on activist and graphic artist Fahmi Reza. The directive follows Fahmi’s claim that he was barred from boarding a flight to Singapore at KLIA2. The Prime Minister’s Office said the Madani government is committed to upholding individual freedoms as long as they do not threaten national security or violate existing laws. DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) condemned the ban, calling it unjust and urging the government to revoke it immediately, warning it undermines reformist credibility.
