New Apple Vision Pro: $3,499 headset finally gets release date

Apple’s highly anticipated Vision Pro headset will be available for purchase in the United States on February 2, with pre-orders open to US customers from mid-January. Priced at $3,499 (RM16,245), it marks Apple’s first major product release since the 2015 Apple Watch.

The mixed-reality device offers 256GB of storage and features eye-tracking technology for those with limited eye mobility. Apple aims to distinguish it from competitors, urging developers to brand their apps as “spatial computing.” However, production challenges have reportedly led to a reduced forecast of 400,000 units in 2024, down from an initial estimate of one million.
