The Barbie trend is not yet over in Malaysia as the craze for the blonde doll is still ongoing. Mattel, the production company of these dolls, agreed to license their products and name to other brands in order to promote the new movie that came out in July 2023.
Barbie restock at Typo
Netizens urged others to stop fighting with each other in trying to obtain Barbie merchandise. Most believe that this isn’t limited edition, and brands like Typo generally mass produce their items. It’s unclear why people are willing to fight with each other for a RM 50 notebook.
Unfortunately, some state that scalpers are trying to buy these items directly from the brand in order to resell them at a much higher price. Regardless, Typo items most likely won’t be collectibles anywhere in the near or distant future.
