SHAH ALAM, Sept 7 — Bersatu Women chief Mas Ermieyati Samsudin has urged the party to emulate DAP in promoting women leaders. Speaking at Bersatu Women’s annual general meeting, she highlighted that 25 percent of DAP’s MPs are women, compared to Bersatu’s one out of 25. The Masjid Tanah MP stressed that Bersatu women should be catalysts for victory, not mere quota fillers, and called for greater female representation in policymaking. She proposed a training platform to prepare more women for leadership roles, adding that the idea has been presented to Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
