I Will Not Bow to Bullies: Na’imah Challenges MACC Asset Seizure

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4, 2025 — Toh Puan Na’imah Abdul Khalid, widow of the late Tun Daim Zainuddin, has vowed to legally challenge the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) after it seized assets worth RM758.2 million, including three luxury London homes and a bank account, via an ex parte order. Na’imah, irate over the lack of notification, called the move politically motivated and a dangerous precedent, accusing MACC of “institutionalised theft.” She stated, “I will not bow to bullies,” promising to defend her rights and urging resistance against unchecked power in a country governed by law.
