It comes to a huge surprise that one of the most prestigious malls in Malaysia had a black out today. Luxury stores like Gucci, Fendi and Prada were also affected and were forced to close their doors for the duration of the black out. This is coming from a first hand experience where I was affected.
The whole parking lot of KLCC was dark and had no lights. However, it’s not just KLCC that was affected by this but the whole of Malaysia. There are talks that even Penang is affected by this black out. The main question here is, why is this happening?
Aren’t there any preventive methods to overcome this situation? Especially for such a grand mall like KLCC, where an alternative source of electricity was always thought as a given but proven otherwise today. What is going on with Malaysia?
