TikTok users are torn between the whole ordeal as some state that a wedding is a joyous occasion and that it should not be seen as a profit maker. Others state that guests can decline the offer if they are unable to pay the standard “market rate” for the wedding they’re invited to.
Users state that if someone is unable to afford a wedding, it would be better to get a registered wedding and have a nice family dinner.
