PKR Shah Alam member @AfralAbdullah has urged Nurul Izzah Anwar to relinquish her deputy president post to counter growing accusations of nepotism within PKR. He proposed that the position be reopened to qualified candidates to restore credibility ahead of the 16th General Election (GE16). Afral, a longtime party loyalist, also suggested removing senior family-linked figures from advisory roles, including Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. He argued that continued perceptions of dynastic control would benefit the opposition. Offering the role to Rafizi Ramli, he added, is not a viable solution without a proper contest and broader party reform.
