The complaints about Grab, Rapid KL and AirAsia are always at an all time high, especially when there is an issue within these companies. It appears that they have been trending on Twitter for all of the wrong reasons for most of the time, and it is always the same respective reasons.
Grab fares are EXPENSIVE
A netizen did a comparison of a trip between KLIA 1 and KLIA 2, and the fares of the competing services are shocking. For obvious reasons, Grab is the most expensive one out of them all. Malaysians are obviously not happy about Grab’s cut throat prices.
Others are empathising with the Grab drivers where they have to often wait hours for a ride, hence the high fares. There were questions on whether the fares are during peak hours or regular hours. Someone claimed that during non peak hours, their fare is only RM7 between the two terminals.
