Last November, they filed civil suits against Siti Mastura after she linked them to Malayan Communist Party leader Chin Peng and Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew.

Lawyer Sankara Nair confirmed the High Court’s advice for negotiations. The Penang State Court’s Mediation Center scheduled separate sessions for each party. The plaintiffs demand damages and an injunction against further allegations. Siti Mastura claimed her assertions were based on reliable sources, countered by plaintiffs arguing her Ph.D. credentials warranted factual review.
