Yii highlighted how ignoring their core base led to lower voter turnout and warned DAP not to make the same mistake. He urged the party to instill confidence in its supporters, address diverse issues, and avoid toxic politics. Yii emphasized the importance of the unity government while ensuring grassroots support remains strong. He handed over leadership to Woo Kah Leong, who was elected unopposed as the new wing chief.
