Authorities in Perak uncovered a disturbing tactic used by a fuel subsidy syndicate: hiding subsidized diesel inside a pig slaughterhouse near Ayer Tawar. The syndicate sourced diesel from petrol stations in Manjung and stored it in large tanks for illegal resale.

A raid under Ops Tiris 2025 led to the seizure of 2,000 liters of diesel, six tanks, a pump, and a lorry worth RM42,680. Two local men were arrested for failing to produce valid permits. The case is being investigated under the Supply Control Act 1961. KPDN vows firm action against subsidy abuse through its KITA GEMPUR enforcement initiative.
