Chinese New Year is one of Malaysia’s biggest celebrations. It is an important cultural holiday and many are excited to celebrate it together. Typically, offices would give out mandarin oranges to their staff in lieu of the festive season. However, an employee was seemingly upset at having to share a box of mandarin oranges with his colleagues.

Netizens state that there are many out there suffering. In Malaysia on the other hand, we have workers complaining that they’re not getting an entire box of fruits for themselves. X users state that we need to be grateful, especially in this time where war is happening in the Middle East and Central Europe.
Furthermore, X users state that the company is well within its rights to take action against the employee that posted that. If they actually went through with it, the worker would most definitely complain that they have been mistreated according to an X user.
