Cartoonist Fahmi Reza is at it again, this time asking the PAS leader in Kedah Sanusi Md Nor why he is claiming there is no freedom of speech in Malaysia. He says he was arrested multiple times during the reign of the PN government, too.

“In the period of 6 months from March to September 2021, I was detained by the police under the Sedition Act (was it the Jealousy Case?), had to go to the police station 7 times for questioning because of satirical posters criticizing the PN government, and was charged in court for satirical posters criticizing PAS.
“Isn’t it shameful that after being arrested and charged under the Sedition Act, you are now complaining about the lack of freedom of speech in Malaysia? It’s laughable,” he writes. So Fahmi Reza Asks Sanusi where is the shame since he was silent when the cartoonist was arrested multiple times under PN rule.
