SEREMBAN, Sept 5 — A 46-year-old man and his 41-year-old girlfriend have been remanded for seven days to assist in investigations into the deaths of his two children, aged six and eight, who drowned after their car slid into Sungai Linggi in Tanjung Agas, Port Dickson, yesterday. Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the pair, detained under Section 302 of the Penal Code, have not been fully cooperative, with motive still unclear. The children were trapped in the submerged vehicle while the woman was rescued by members of the public. —
