KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3, 2026 – Police arrested 46 foreign nationals during Op Dadu Khas Call Centre, which targeted nine suspected online gambling centres across the capital yesterday and today.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the suspects admitted to organising online gambling operations aimed at customers in China, Korea and the Philippines. They were believed to have been active for one to three months, earning monthly salaries between RM2,000 and RM3,500.

The raids also seized 24 laptops, 71 mobile phones, 12 monitors and RM23,000 in cash. Investigations are being conducted under Section 4(1)(g) and Section 4B(a) of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953, as well as Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
Fadil confirmed that remand orders were obtained: 11 suspects for three days, one for one day, 22 for four days until Oct 5, and 12 for 14 days until Oct 15.
Authorities said investigations are ongoing to dismantle the syndicate’s operations.
