Three individuals linked to GISB Holdings were charged in the Kota Tinggi Sessions Court with human trafficking and sexual offenses. Mahmad Hamal Tukiman, 57, and Rabiahtul Adawiyah Md Shash, 31, faced four counts of trafficking for forced labor involving three women and one man, aged between 30 and 57. The alleged crimes took place between August and October 2023 at Ikhwan Resort, Johor. Both denied the charges. In a related case, resort employee Muhammad Ansarullah Tukino, 20, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual misconduct against a 16-year-old boy.
