DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke rebuked critics questioning the party’s decision to establish a fund for victims of the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire. Speaking after a Berjaya Corporation event where Carsome donated 50 cars to those affected, Loke called detractors “brainless” for condemning aid efforts. He explained that while government and private sectors have their roles, DAP set up the fund to enable individual supporters to contribute smaller donations like RM50 or RM100 efficiently. Loke urged critics to focus their energy on helping rather than criticizing. Berjaya founder Vincent Tan and Selangor exco Ng Sze Han were also present. “TIt’s better for them to use their energy to find ways to help… if you can’t help, just keep quiet,” he told reporters…
