IPOH, May 14 — Final tributes were paid to nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel killed in a tragic road accident in Teluk Intan, in a solemn ceremony held at FRU Unit 5, Sungai Senam, early Tuesday morning. The caskets, draped in the Jalur Gemilang, arrived at 3.13 am and were honoured according to police ceremonial protocol. Prayers were held for the seven Muslim victims. Over 500 people, including family members and police personnel, attended the ceremony. The officers were killed when their vehicle was hit by a lorry while returning from duty.
