A 34-year-old Singaporean woman was just 17 when she was forced to marry the son of an influential member of Global Ikhwan Services and Business (GISB) Holdings and faced 14 years of what she described as abuse at the hands of her husband. In contrast, senior GISB members turned a blind eye and urged her to stay in the marriage despite being beaten by the man while she was pregnant and being forced-upon up to five times a day. Now a single mother to nine children, Zoey says “I was a sex slave to my husband.”. he mom is among a group of Singaporean former members of GISB.
