Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) questioned the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (SPRM) investigation methods involving high-profile figures, including former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Pejuang’s Information Chief, Muhammad Rafique Rashid Ali, claimed that investigations were stricter against critics of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, while allies were seemingly spared. Ismail Sabri was scheduled to give a second statement regarding a RM700 million government advertising fund but postponed due to health reasons. Rafique highlighted the contrast with Deputy Prime Minister 1, whose 47 corruption charges were dropped in 2023.
