Two Rohingya nationals were issued summonses in Kedah after being caught committing multiple traffic offences by the Road Transport Department (JPJ). A viral photo showed one man holding a summons slip so long it nearly touched the floor.
JPJ Vows Continued Crackdown to Ensure Road Safety
JPJ confirmed the men were driving without valid licences, expired road tax, and no insurance. The Kedah JPJ Falcon squad seized both motorcycles, sending them to the depot for further action. JPJ stressed that enforcement operations will continue under Ops PEWA to ensure compliance among foreign drivers, safeguard road safety, and uphold Malaysia’s traffic laws.
