Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has offered a RM5,000 reward for credible information leading to the arrest of a man who doused a 62‑year‑old woman with petrol and set her on fire.
The brutal attack occurred outside a lottery shop in Taman Pusat Kepong, leaving the victim with burns covering nearly half her body.

Police reports indicate the woman had no known enemies and had never received threats, making the incident even more shocking.
Lim condemned the act as “cruel and horrifying,” stressing that the perpetrator must be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
To assist investigations, Lim urged anyone with reliable information to contact investigating officer Amri Firdaus Jusoh at 010‑9198209, the Sentul District Police Headquarters at 03‑40482222, or the nearest police station.
He also cautioned the public against confronting the suspect directly.
