SINGAPORE: Former Malaysian minister Khairy Jamaluddin labelled Singapore’s People’s Action Party (PAP) “immature” for criticising Workers’ Party leader Pritam Singh’s appearance on his podcast, Keluar Sekejap. The PAP claimed Singh’s discussion of Singapore’s politics on a Malaysian platform risked “foreign interference.” Khairy, who with co-host Shahril Hamdan has discussed Malaysian politics on Singaporean media, called out the double standards, saying, “PAP needs to grow up.” The duo scrapped plans for a Singapore stop on their podcast tour, citing the PAP’s stance. The Workers’ Party defended Singh’s free speech.
