A woman living in a rented condo room in Kuala Lumpur accused her male housemate of entering her bedroom while she was asleep and sexually assaulting her. She said she woke up to find the man hugging her, and later alleged that he kissed and touched her inappropriately.

The man claimed he entered the wrong room and apologized via WhatsApp, asking her not to tell others. She rejected his attempts to explain and lodged a police report at Jalan Tun Razak police station. The man has since been asked to leave, but the woman remains traumatised and concerned for others’ safety.
