After nearly two years of suspension, KLIA’s Aerotrain service will resume by January 31, 2025. The service, halted since March 2023 due to a major breakdown, will feature three new Aerotrain sets, each accommodating 270 passengers.

KLIA aerotrain service to resume in 2025
Two sets have arrived, with a third arriving in October 2024. The trains are currently being installed and tested. Meanwhile, airport buses, introduced as a temporary measure, will continue to operate to manage high passenger volumes.
