A light aircraft crashed in an oil palm plantation area in Felda Gunung Besout 2 Tambahan, Sungkai, Tanjung Malim, today at around 9:55 am. Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri confirmed the incident, stating it was a training aircraft, and both passengers, a man and a woman, survived.

They were sent to Slim River Hospital for treatment. The type of aircraft involved could not be determined immediately. Preliminary reports indicate both occupants sustained injuries in the crash.
