Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has expressed willingness to reconcile with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, but on one condition—Anwar must admit that his accusations of Mahathir stealing money are false. Mahathir dismissed Anwar’s claims that he was extraordinarily wealthy, stole national funds, and betrayed Malaysia in the Pulau Batu Puteh issue as baseless. He stated that he had waited two years for Anwar to provide evidence but received none. Mahathir believes that if their relationship were good, they could solve national issues together. However, he claimed Anwar does not take advice from others.
