The government is monitoring developments and will present them to the Cabinet. Trump announced a 10% tariff on Chinese imports and a 25% duty on imports from Canada and Mexico. Separately, Malaysia hopes for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and is working with Japan to gather financial resources for Gaza’s reconstruction.
