Netizens state that if pushing for the age to drop would mean that it is promoting pedophilia. Furthermore, others are making jokes towards the situation claiming that we should never “lose.” That is a recurring joke all over social media when it comes to the topic of one’s virginity.
The website World Population Review has updated its data on Average Age to Lose Virginity by Country. Prior to the list, it was mentioned that people in Europe and North America tend to lose their virginity younger, at 15 to 16 years old, compared to those in Asia, at 18 to 20 years old and above.
