The netizen also states that the people can’t simply fully rely on NGOs and that the government needs to chime in. Some are calling at a major emergency. The local politicians chimed in to help with the situation and netizens are praising them for it.
Others are sharing their sympathies towards the people of Johor. There are many that were affected by the floods, whether it be their house that is affected or the fact that they can’t actually go to work due to main road closures.
Reports state that the government has given the state RM50,000,000.00. According to Harian Metro, over 37,000 residents are affected by the flood.
