The Kuantan City Council (MBK) is addressing staff obesity issues, as 30% of its 1,300 employees are classified as obese based on BMI screenings. Kuantan Mayor Datuk Razihan Adzharuddin revealed that a panel clinic has been appointed to assess employee health and identify causes, such as diet, exercise, and environment.
