MRT3: Land Acquisition Process to Start in Stages Next Year

MRT Corp is set to initiate the land acquisition process for the Mass Rapid Transit Line 3 Circle Line project starting next year. The Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, stated that the process, expected to take two years, will involve 1,012 lots of land, with the approach aimed at minimizing the government’s land acquisition costs.

The company will collaborate with property developers to integrate MRT3 stations. The government has approved the allocation for the land acquisition process, but details on the allocated amount were not disclosed. The alignment for MRT3 has yet to be finalized.
