He explained that the issue is not under the ministry’s jurisdiction and is between the Parent-Teacher Association and the operators. The Penang Consumers Association had urged the Ministry of Transport to intervene, but the Association of Malaysian School Bus Operators noted that fare increases depend on agreements with parents.
