The Bersama flagship candidate, Rafizi Ramli has made waves all over social media for involving himself with this alternative party. He recently made a statement citing that the costs of mega projects in Malaysia will continue to increase the cost the country would need to pay.
Rafizi Ramli, the future leader of efficiency?
An X user dubbed Rafizi as an “efficient leader,” for his explanation regarding mega projects like MRT, TRX, ECRL which are losing money.
However, there are users who appear to disagree with what the politician said, as they feel certain facilities built by the country should not be based on profit. But in a democracy, says an X user, it is normal to disagree with one and another.
Additionally, reports state that Bersama may get a stronger Chinese Malaysian base in the upcoming elections in Johor Bahru. As long as the party avoids major controversies, there can be a chance for them to win some seats.
