Several X users state that these McDonalds workers have other options to work at. Users state that they have a choice unlike those involved in a war. Furthermore, some claim that the company is trying to gaslight their customers into returning to their stores.
Netizens suggest that the company do a rebrand and no longer pay for the licensing and branding royalties. X users gave creative suggestions stating that their new name should be Mekdi or something along the lines of that.
