The Coldplay debacle has netizens debating against each other on social media in recent days. However, PM Anwar is currently being praised for his decision to seek counsel with a Mufti in regards to the Coldplay concert being held in Malaysia. This also has to do with their political stance.
PM Anwar praised for consideration towards Coldplay
Netizens state that having good leaders like PM Anwar is a blessing. Some are seeing it as him trying to mediate the situation. However, other social media users are unhappy at conservatives for making this a bigger deal than it is as they state there are bigger problems in the country.
Others state that we should not waste our Prime Minister’s time on such petty issues. Netizens are asking a bigger question, will the concerts of local celebrities like Siti Nur Haliza and Aina Abdul be scrutinized by conservatives next? For the most part, many are fine with the concert being held in Kuala Lumpur.
