1 min read

Jodi Proger, 64, a beloved Ohio grandmother who rehabilitated whitetail deer for 12 years, was fatally mauled November 15 inside an enclosure on her Stewartsville property. Family members called 911 after finding her trapped with an aggressive buck. Belmont County deputies shot and killed one charging male deer to reach her, but Proger died at the scene from severe injuries.
