Bangkok: National paragliding athlete tragically passed away during training

National paragliding athlete Muhammad Nurniqmat Ruslan tragically passed away during training at Hua Hin beach, Thailand. The 25-year-old, known for his talent and resilience, had recently gifted his parents funds for their Umrah pilgrimage, a gesture his father, Ruslan Mehat, cherished as his son’s final gift. Despite undergoing a kidney transplant two years ago, Nurniqmat pursued his passion for paragliding and had qualified for prestigious events. His friend, Rafiee Aziz, recalled the accident, where strong currents hindered rescue efforts. Nurniqmat was buried at Darul Abideen Mosque Islamic Cemetery in Bangkok, leaving behind a legacy of determination and love.
