Hassan Karim Calls for Loke to Stay Amid Major Transport Projects
Loke had offered to resign from the Cabinet following the Federal Territories Pardons Board’s decision involving former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
However, he has continued carrying out his ministerial duties, including an official visit to China where he is scheduled to lead Malaysia’s delegation at the APEC Transport Ministers’ Meeting.
Hassan highlighted the importance of continuity as projects such as the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link move forward. Anwar has said he had not received Loke’s formal resignation letter and would discuss the matter with him before any decision is made.
