Police Hunt 10 Men Over Shah Alam Gang Fights and Murder

Police are tracking down 10 men aged between 23 and 46 to assist investigations into two separate fights in Shah Alam, including one that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old man.

Seven of the wanted men are linked to the August 25 incident in Taman Alam Megah, while three others are being sought over a separate attack in Taman Sri Muda involving a machete and an object resembling a firearm.

21 Arrested as Police Probe Possible Gang Rivalry

Following the incidents, police conducted raids in Shah Alam and Johor between August 14 and 28, arresting 21 local men and seizing seven machetes, two cable cutters, nine cars and three motorcycles.

Eight suspects have been charged under Sections 302 and 149 of the Penal Code, while four others face charges under Section 148.

Police believe the cases could involve gangsterism involving different factions. The fatal incident is currently believed to have stemmed from a turf war, while the Taman Sri Muda case may have resulted from a misunderstanding.

Authorities said they will take firm action against anyone involved in gangsterism and ensure those responsible are brought before the courts.
