The recent debate on Halal restaurants has led to netizens discussing how some non-Halal restaurants can have the potential to serve pork and alcohol to others. But, netizens state that alcohol and pork alone are too expensive to be deliberately misserved to customers.
Pork and alcohol too expensive to be misserved
An X user states that non-Muslims don’t drink and eat food with alcohol all day and all night long. Additionally, they add that there are a number of non-Muslim owned restaurants that do follow through the requirements in preparing Halal food.
Another user states that some Malaysians do place alcohol in their food for taste. But, others deny that this is done by all non-Muslims in the country. Furthermore, restaurants that do this tend to signify to their customers that there is alcohol content in their food.
