PPR’s elevator lobby turned into hotel-like lobby

Residents of a sixth floor Lembah Subang 1 People’s Housing Project (PPR) Flats gained widespread attention after transforming their elevator lobby to resemble a hotel, and a video of the transformation recently went viral on social media.

The initiative, inspired by a hotel theme, was part of a decoration competition organized by Think City. The floor’s leader, Nor Hidayah Sulaiman, 41, explained that the decoration was done through a community effort, with funds raised from the residents amounting to RM3,000.
