The Malaysian government has announced the lifting of racial barriers for non-Malay students seeking to pursue matriculation programs. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that starting this year, all Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers with 10As or more will be offered matriculation opportunities regardless of race or region.
