The long-stalled Residensi Kecapi project in Sentul West has finally launched 250 low-cost housing units priced at RM42,000 each, aimed at uplifting B40 communities. Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa officiated the launch, calling it a model of collaboration between government and private sector to restore dignity and opportunity.

Of the 250 units, 135 have been offered to locals, with 27 agreements already signed. The initiative includes transparent auditing of original landowners’ rights and complements community upliftment programmes like Bintang Cemerlang 2.0, which supports education among low-income students. It’s part of the broader Sentul Urban Renewal Master Plan.
