Maxim Publishes First Safety and Driver Legalisation Report

KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 – Maxim Malaysia has released its safety, customer support, and driver legalisation data for the first half of 2026, marking the company’s first public disclosure of such figures. The report highlights that safety-related matters accounted for less than 1% of all inquiries through official support channels, reflecting strong client satisfaction. More than 90% of inquiries were resolved, with over 70% processed within 24 hours.

Driver Legalisation

Maxim emphasised that safety requests are prioritised through accelerated response processes, supported by in-app features such as an enhanced SOS function that allows passengers to alert emergency contacts and share trip details. Drivers submitted 61.5% of inquiries, while passengers accounted for 38.5%, with most requests concerning payments, fares, refunds, and trip issues.
